    Broadway Sales Ticket

Posted on May 16th, 2008 by and filed under Affiliate programs | No Comments »

So you want to sell Broadway tickets on the Internet, but do not
know how to begin? There are a few different ways to become
involved in the Broadway ticket sales market.

    The first would be
to get your licenses to be a legitimate ticket broker for
reselling event tickets, the second would be to become a sales
rep for an already established Broadway ticket broke, and that
leaves us with the last choice, which would be to become on
online Broadway ticket sales affiliate, working on straight
    commission for your sales.

Each option fits a different type of person, to become a
Broadway ticket broker would probably be the most difficult to
start, you would need overhead, a license and a way to drum up
business, perhaps advertising locally in magazines and papers,
The second option of getting a career doing the sales for an
already established company is a great choice for someone with
marketing and sales experience, with the ability to work with a
salary and most likely some commission incentives, The final
choice, to be an affiliate, would be great for anyone with
Internet marketing skills, this requires the ability to build
websites and bring targeted traffic to them, which is a very
complicated task in this competitive field, but the rewards can
be great and there are no start up costs or overhead, also the
owner would not require any experience because you would be paid
only for sales you have landed.

There are plenty of great books, articles and information on the
Internet for all three of these options. If Broadway is a
passion which you enjoy you should have no problem making some
money doing what you love. Look for some books and information
and stay focused on what you need to accomplish, soon you will
be a Broadway sales ticket pro!

Best Affiliate Products, Where to Find Them and Select the Best

Posted on May 12th, 2008 by and filed under Affiliate programs | No Comments »

The BIG QUESTION on everyone’s mind is…

Can you make money on-line through affiliate programs?

The Answer is YES and YES and YES!

It is totally possible to make money on-line, there are all
kinds of articles and stories about people who have been
successful making money through affiliate programs.

    A great
example is Affiliate Super Star Rosalind Gardner who makes over
    $ 400,000 a year. You can read a review of Rosalind’s successes
    at href="http://www.bestaffiliateproducts.com/rosalind-gardner.html"

    target=”_blank”>http://www.bestaffiliateproducts.com/rosalind-gar
    dner.html

There are also lots of “little guys” doing well selling
    affiliate products.

It has nothing to do with getting in on the ground floor in a
particular program. It has nothing to do with having loads of
money to market your program. Yes, you do need to have to have a
marketing budget, but that is just the cost of doing business.

What it boils down to is knowing what to look for in an
    Affiliate Program.

More specifically, you look at programs which provide:

    1. Products/Services that are in demand. This is pretty obvious,
right? If you don’t have a market for your products/services
then you aren’t going to make any money. Now, you did your
research already and found that your niche idea does have a
demand…so what you are doing is looking for products/services
to weave into your niche site.

The best product or service to weave in, of course, is one that
you have used personally. Nothing works better than giving a
personal recommendation. If you can, weave in testimonials from
others who have used the same product or service. That way,
there is more than one voice and that goes a long way to helping
a customer make a well informed buying decision.

    2. Look at the Commission Structure. The BEST commission
structure is one that pays you on a recurring basis. Monthly
income is the best way to go but, depending on your niche, might
not always be an option for you. If that’s the case then do a
little investigative work and check out competitor commission
structures, and then, go for the one that pays you the most for
    a one time sale.

    3. Promote more than one product/service. Now this can get a
little dicey for you because you don’t want to confuse your
customer but, you also want to have a few options available for
making a sale. Let me explain this a little better for you, by
explaining what I would do using the Golf example I referred to
    earlier in this course.

The niche site that I suggested I would build around the “golf”
niche was ‘used golf equipment’. I said that I would have had
some sort of a membership board where people could post their
buy/sell items. That membership site would, of course, be my own
product, so that means I would get 100% of the money generated
    by it.

I also said I could incorporate some form of comparison chart
for buying used versus new golf equipment. That way if, say a
specific club was selling at $150 used and maybe $185 new, then
the customer would be able to decide… new versus old. I would
still make the commission on the new item. See where I am going
    with that???

Ok, now…in addition to the golf products, I would also want to
have posted some good content on my web site, as to what to look
for when buying used equipment etc. I would post articles that
related specifically to my niche. I would then go and apply to
the Google Adsense Program and would post little ads on the
article pages. If a customer came and decided to clickoff into
some other site, then at least I would see a commission from the
click. I may then even decide to join Amazon.com or some other
online book club and pick a few good golf books to recommend.

So…one niche site and I have created 4 income streams for
myself. That is what I mean by promoting more than one product
or service. Essentially what you are doing is giving yourself a
    good well-rounded product mix.

You can specialize if you want to. For example, I know of
someone who is going to build a niche site around a specific
coffee machine that they feel is going to take off. The machine
is made from one specific company, which is ok. So they build a
site around that machine, then they go a step further and weave
in the coffee that you need to buy in order to use the machine.
No other company’s product/service is involved, just the one
    specific one.

See where I am going with this? and just how powerful affiliate
programs can be…IF you know how to use them in the right
    manner.

Ok, so let’s recap what we need to look for when deciding to
    participate in Affiliate Programs.

    1. YOU WANT programs with products/services that are IN DEMAND.

    2. YOU WANT programs that pay you MONTHLY COMMISSIONS if you can
have the right affiliate product. Or, at the very least, you
want to shop around and find the products with the best
    commission rate out there.

    3. YOU WANT an arsenal of programs that link or tie into one
another to give you MULTIPLE INCOME STREAMS.

That is what to look for in an Affiliate Program. Now, let’s
cover how to find an affiliate program for your niche.

The more obvious way to do this is to go directly to the web
site of the merchant who you want to work with, and see if they
offer an affiliate program. If they don’t … don’t worry, we
have a few other places to check out. We’ll find an affiliate
    program for you.

There are three main sites that you can use, and it just so
happened we covered them yesterday in “Tools of the Niche
Trade.” To save you having to go back over your notes, here they
    are again:

    1. Commission Junction href="http://www.cj.com" target="_blank">www.cj.com

CJ is THE affiliate program directory for both physical and
downloadable products. They have hundreds of merchants listed
within their directory. They have also joined forces with
BeFree, another affiliate directory. You can sign up for the CJ
site, and then on the CJ home page you will see BFAST.

Sign up for both and then, once you are in your account, you can
link them both so you get the BEST of both sites. ALL affiliates
are listed, as well as their commission structures. They also
provide you with banners, ads and links that you can weave into
    your site.

    2. Clix Galore href="http://www.clixgalore.com/AffSelectProgram.aspx?AdvProgID=2
    6" target="_blank">Clix Galore

clixGalore has about 3500 affiliate merchants listed within
their directory. From Mickey Mouse watches to Health and
Nutritional Products, and everything in between.

It also is a no cost directory to join, and like CJ, they too
provide you with marketing materials to incorporate into your
    web site.

    3. ClickBank ClickBank

ClickBank is yet another affiliate directory. It is the most
popular affilate directory for downloadable products. Actually
they only handle downloadable affiliate products.

Here you can make anywhere from 10% - 75% commissions on
products or services you sell. Acceptable affiliate commissions
today range from 25% to 55%.

The neat thing about ClickBank is that their products are listed
by popularity. So, it makes your job a little easier. You can go
right for the related product/service that is making the good
    sales.

Of course these directories will help you find the right
merchant program to weave into your site in order to make money,
BUT…do your homework! Find the one that is going to pay you
    top commissions.

Use the information you just read and apply it to ALL your niche
sites and you can’t go wrong!

Building Customer Relationships with Customer Referral Programs.

Posted on May 10th, 2008 by and filed under Affiliate programs | No Comments »

Word of mouth has typically been a brand’s best friend. And
it’s no different when it comes to consumer loyalty
programs.VideoEmailYourWay.com wants to reward those who help
them grow during this busy season with the launch of it new
    Customer Referral Program.

Studies have found that 82 percent of Americans participating in
customer loyalty programs have actively referred friends and
family to their favorite programs, according to Parago’s
    2004/2005 Customer Loyalty Research Report.

The study found that on average, active members refer about
three friends or family members to their favorite programs,
compared to stand-alone referral programs, which result in about
two referrals per active member. High-income earners–household
incomes of $125,000 or higher–tend to be the most active in
referrals since they are typically more involved in loyalty and
    rewards programs.

And the news gets better. Some 43 percent of participants have
told four or more individuals about favorite rewards, perks and
benefits. Those doing the referring are about equally split
    between men and women.

Of the high-income earners, more than 90 percent referred one or
more people and 64% have referred four or more.

VideoEmailYourWay.com analyzed these and other studies and came
up with a new Customer Referral Program that would not only
increase their brand and services, but would also be useful and
    acceptable to every customer.

For every new customer referred to VideoEmailYourWay.com they
will reward you with a $25 American Express Gift Card. All new
and existing customers of their video e-mail service are
eligible to participate in the Customer Referral Program.

With electronic payment solutions quickly replacing paper
currency, gift cards are emerging as the alternative to
traditional cash, paper-based checks, coupons and gift
certificates. VideoEmailYourWay.com feels that the American
Express Gift Card is the best choice for delivering their
    rewards.

VideoEmailYourWay.com expects to see an overwhelming response
to its new Customer Referral Program and plans to implement
additional Customer Loyalty Programs in the coming months.

For more information on VideoEmailYourway.com log onto its
website. Their Streaming Video E-mail service is undoubtedly the
next level in Internet communication. A Basic service plan
starts at only $9.95 a month and is very exciting and easy to
    use.

Can you make money at home with affiliate programs?

Posted on May 3rd, 2008 by and filed under Affiliate programs | No Comments »

    The answer is YES!!

First off what are Affiliate Programs?

Simply put, an Affiliate Program is an agreement between a
merchant and an individual (Affiliate) where the Merchant agrees
to pay the Affiliate for advertising and gaining leads or sales
    for the Merchants product!

An affiliate program (also an Associate, Partner, Referral, or
Revenue Sharing Program) is just a way for companies to sell
products via regular people like you and me all over the world.

When you start generating clicks, leads, or sales, the company
you are affiliated with pays you a commission.

    What are Two-tier affiliate programs?

In many cases, it’s possible to make money from the efforts of
people that you introduce to the affiliate program. These would
be called Two-tier affiliate programs. This is just a term used
to identify affiliates who earn commissions on their conversions
as well as conversions of other webmasters they refer to the
    program.

For example, you could earn a residual income of up to 5%+ from
the sales that your sub-affiliates bring in. This can really add
up when you have a large base of sub-affiliates.

With that said, you could see by combining the power of the
Internet and Affiliate Programs you can very easily generate
massive profits. The more people you can get the Affiliate
Programs you have joined in front of the better your chances are
    of earning money!

Affiliate Programs come in all shapes and sizes. There are
programs, which pay you per lead or per click, and there are those
which pay you a percentage of the sale amount.

Affiliate programs are an ideal way to make money from home.
There is such a huge range of web affiliate programs now
available, that there is almost certainly something out there
that will suit you and or your site. And did I mention they are
    FREE to join?

So if you are serious about making money with affiliate programs
then listen up. You will have your best chance for success if
    you do the following:

    1. You must have a goal.

Goal setting is the term commonly given for the process of
setting and working towards specific, defined goals. Pretty
simple really. However, setting unrealistic goals is not what
I’m talking about here. It should be something small. Maybe
start off with something like earning an extra $300 a month.
Remember you can always set more goals once you achieve the
first. The harder you make the goal the more you may find
    yourself feeling defeated.

    2. What do you enjoy? What are your hobbies? What is
    something you enjoy talking about?

The next 2 steps are really important. The best way I have found
to make money using affiliate programs is to create web sites
around a topic that you like or are comfortable with. Next, find
affiliate programs you can blend into your site. What I mean is,
say you like fishing and you decide to build a web community
about fishing. You should only join affiliate programs that
relate to the topic fishing. The chances of someone clicking on
your affiliate link are much greater this way. You will also
find it much easier to update and add content to your site on a
topic you are familiar with. (We will get into this later.)

    3. Is the topic you decided on popular?

Now that you know what your topic is. How will your web site
appeal to the masses? What I mean by this is how many times were
the keyword phrases (you would like to target) searched for? By
having a subject that nobody searches for, you’re not going to
make much money. Your web site not only needs to be about
something you are comfortable with, but also searched for often.
The idea is to find a topic that the public searches for. Then
once you build a site that focuses on that information, getting
your visitors to click on your links will be a breeze.

There are many tools available for you search popular key
    phrases:

    http://pixelfast.com/overture/

    http://www.nichebot.com/

    http://www.wordtracker.com/

To name a few, and I’m sure you could do a google and find many
    more.

Once you visit these sites, type in your topic and look at what
combinations of keywords are getting the best results. These are
the types of keyword phrases you should focus on. The idea is to
make a site with lots of good quality content about this topic.
The more content you have the more likely the search engines
will index your web site and its pages. Thus increasing your
chances of making money off the affiliate programs you join.
Affiliate programs work just like sales, and in sales the more
people you talk to the more chances you have to sell your
product. It’s just a numbers game. The more visitors you have
the more money you can make.

Be careful on your topic though. If you plan to use google
adsense ads on your site there are topics that they won’t allow
their ads on. For a full list of topics they wont allow go here:
    https://www.google.com/adsense/policies?hl=en_US

Repeat steps 2 & 3 until you are certain you have the topic you
would like to build your web site on.

    4. Build a useful, interesting web site on your topic.

Hopefully, you have identified the audience you want to reach.
Now its time to create a profile of your target audience and
design a site that’s useful to their needs and interests. What
is the content going to be on your site? How often will you
update your site? Are there other sites out there like the one
you want to build? If so how can you be different, better? In
what formats will your content be delivered? Will you just use
text and graphics or will you need forms for user input? How
much time will it take to keep up with your site? If you don’t
know how to build sites who will you hire to help you? First and
foremost make sure you create a useful, interesting, content
    ridden, interactive, keyword-rich website.

    5. Research, join and add affiliate links to your site.

Before you run out and join every affiliate program, take a
minute to think about the web site you have built and its
visitors. What types of products and information will your
visitors be interested in? Will the programs you choose appeal
to your site’s visitors. (If not your conversions will suffer.)
You may want to rush out and join all the affiliate programs you
can. I know it sounds really good, but it really isn’t a good
idea. Having too many programs creates a lot of clutter on your
site. To many affiliate links will only confuse your visitors.
It will also hurt your web sites ranking when search engines
start crawling your site. Its best to just focus on a few and
worry more about making your site easy to read, informative
(full of content), easy to navigate, interactive, and as
visually appealing as possible. If you do these five things to
your web site visitors will not only come, they will come back!
OFTEN, maybe even bringing a few friends each time they return!
    If you href="http://www.real-work-from-home.com/affiliate-programs/" target="_blank">
and you can view a list of companies, I
think, are some of the best moneymakers out there.

    6. Write articles

One of the best, FREE, ways to promote your website is to write
articles about the topic you have chosen. At the end of your
article you can add an author byline. In this byline you should
add links to your site. Let them know who you are and where your
internet home is. This will help build credibility for you and
your site. With time, it will also build a very loyal following.
And lots and lots of FREE traffic to your site! And if you add
one little line in your articles saying, “that your article can
be used for reprint on someone else’s site”, (as long as they
keep the links in your article active - very important) you have
just made the next step (#7) in making money from home using
affiliate programs so much easier! Now after you have written a
few articles, added your author byline, and the reprint rights.
The next thing you need to do is find places you can submit them
to! Start looking for e-zines, sites that accept articles
(similar to the content on yours), message boards, anything that
will allow you to post your article. Post it! Let me tell you
there are tons of these places out there. Most of them are free
to submit to. The only thing needed from you now is the time to
    submit them.

    7. Add more content to your site. Then get more links to your
    site.

The best way to ensure that search engines find your site is to
have pages on other relevant sites link to yours. Search engine
robots jump from page to page and site to site via these links,
so the more sites that link to the pages of your site, the more
likely it is that they will find and index your site quicker.
Also, the more pages and content you have will increase your
chances of another site hyperlinking to yours. Webmasters love
good quality content! Not to mention these links can provide
lots of free traffic to your site as well. At first you will
probably see more traffic coming to your site from these links
than you will from the major search engines. As time goes on,
and the as more sites start linking to your content, the more
weight a search engine will give your site. Raising your
pagerank and rankings in their indexes, and that’s a good
    thing.

**Complete steps 6 & 7 over and over and over. Your JOB now is
to promote your site as much as possible.**

    8. Most of all be patient

If you are looking for a way to earn lots of money in a short
time, you need to skip affiliate programs and find some other
way to make money at home. Making money with affiliate programs
can be a very slow process. I didn’t start making really decent
money with affiliate programs for about a year. It takes time
and a little bit of work. You will get tired of posting and
writing your articles, but don’t quit. The more you get your
name and web site out there, the more people you will see
    visiting your site.

I hope this article has helped explain how the internet,
combined with affiliate programs, can be a very lucrative and
legitimate way to make money, enough money to, maybe just maybe,
allow you to quit your job. I did! And I can’t even begin to
describe to you the rewards that have come along with me being
able to do so. Again, I’m going to say this: This did NOT happen
overnight, but it did happen! It took many hours sitting in
front of the computer. In fact I still spend 20-30 hours a week
working on my site, trying to better my conversions. Keeping up
with the ever changing algorithms of the major search engines.
Finding and creating fresh, new, content for my site and its
    visitors is neverending.

But in the end, it’s all worth it!!

Can A Beginner Be A Success With Affiliate Marketing

Posted on May 2nd, 2008 by and filed under Affiliate programs | No Comments »

If this is your first time in online marketing, it’s quite understandable how
you may have seen or heard internet marketing spoken about as if it
were one big group of people scamming other people into scamming
    more people.

I’m sure you’ve figured out, that is definitely not the case.
This is a serious business, it’s a real business, and it involves real
people and real products, even though many of them are published and
brought to our attention through a digital format, and many contain pure
    information.

There are many reasons to promote affiliate products - no matter what
anyone says, there is lots of money to be made in affiliate promotions.
As long as you do it the right way.

    Reasons to promote affiliate programs:

    . No Customer Service
    . Access to unlimited niches
    . No product creation time
. No need to invest time and money in
    product
    . Bi-weekly/Monthly/Quarterly checks
    . Self-generating income - even when
    asleep
. Choice to promote more than one
    program easily
    . Minimum business investment

Now, nothing is perfect, so let’s discuss some drawbacks of being an
    affiliate.

. Only earning a certain percentage
    . Not building a customer list/base
. Not being able to do Joint Ventures
    . Having limited authority
. No control over merchant website/promotions

The main reason EVERY marketer should be involved in affiliate
promotions is because it immediately allows them to promote a product to
    any niche in just minutes.

Affiliate promotions allow everyone to build a secondary waive of income
that generates itself (if done right).

    What is an Affiliate Business?
    ———————————–
An affiliate is someone who simply promotes other people’s products.
Meaning you don’t have to go through the headache of developing your own product,
providing customer service, marketing, processing payments - nothing.

You simply refer people to someone’s website and get paid every time they
buy something. It’s a genius concept.

You never have the hassle with processing the order, shipping
the order, providing customer service - you do nothing more
than get that person to that website!

If you’re worried that you can’t succeed, or that people won’t like your work, have
no fear because you’re not alone, and I believe that this is healthy to an extent.
What you mustn’t do is let your past experiences get you stuck in a rut, and get
you all worked up about not being able to succeed in the future.

Everyone makes mistakes, and you can’t please everyone all the time
even though it would be nice. So no matter what you do with online
marketing, or any other business for that matter, don’t let past
experiences stop you from moving forward. If someone doesn’t like your
stuff, that’s fine, as long as you’re comfortable with it, give them a
refund, or just take it on the nose, say ok then and move on.

Don’t let this type of thing hold you back. I solidly believe that this is one of
the big reasons so many people out there can’t succeed, because although they may
be working long hours and putting everything into their business, they’re avoiding
the things that they really need to do because of past experiences.

Don’t fall into this trap, keep moving and be true to what you’re doing. Don’t hide
from it. If what you’re doing isn’t working, you have to make a conscious effort
to look at what you need
to do to move forward, then do it, because when you do, you’ll find
yourself with a lot more cash in your pocket, a lot more spare time on
your hands, and a business that is moving forward not standing still.
This is a hurdle you will need to get over if you’re going to get
    anywhere in online marketing.
